Dalseter is GreenKey sertified!
Our mountain hotel is Green Key certified, which means that we meet various environmental requirements and want to act sustainable in what we do.
Green Key is one of the largest global environmental certification schemes for accommodation with over 4000 certified companies in 60 countries.
The scheme is recognised and supported by the United Nations World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO), United Nations Environmental Programme (UNEP).
Green Key is the only eco-label in Norway to have the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC) Recognized.
The purpose of Green Key is to promote sustainable tourism, as well as to help prevent climate change by rewarding and supporting businesses that implement positive environmental measures.
Green Key aims to change the practices and behaviours of tourism actors, including guests, businesses, authorities and local communities, in a sustainable direction. This is done by raising awareness among both employees and guests, by promoting sustainable practices and the use of technology, by supporting environmentally friendly and responsible businesses, reducing energy consumption and resource consumption.
As a guest of a Green Key certified establishment, you can be assured that your property has gone to great lengths to ensure that your stay is as comfortable and enjoyable as possible, without compromising the environment. It is also arranged for you as a guest to make environmentally friendly choices, including by offering organic, locally produced, or Fairtrade labelled food, through encouragement to reuse towels, etc.
